Candyman

Greetings lovely members of the community .
I hope you all are doing great and enjoying quality time with your loved ones

I still remember the excitement i used to have as a kid whenever the candyman came outside the houses. He used to have a bell which he rang indicating the kids that he had come. All kids used to get excited and ask money from their parents to buy candies. The candyman used to carry different kinds of candies but he always had this big stick with mostly pink cotton candies (which nowadays comes in different colours) which were very sweet to taste and used to disappear as soon as we used to put them in our mouth. Now we rarely see candyman coming to any houses but some still roam around at tourist places and some kids are still excited to see them. Here are two pictures that i clicked when i saw them on the mall road.

बचपन में जब भी कैंडीमैन घरों के बाहर आता था तो मुझे वह उत्साह आज भी याद है। उसके पास एक घंटी हुआ करती थी जिसे वह बजाकर बच्चों को सूचित करता था कि वह आ गया है। सभी बच्चे उत्साहित हो जाते थे और अपने माता-पिता से कैंडी खरीदने के लिए पैसे मांगते थे। कैंडीमैन तरह-तरह की कैंडी लेकर चलता था, लेकिन उसके पास हमेशा गुलाबी सूती कैंडी (जो आजकल अलग-अलग रंगों में आती हैं) के साथ यह बड़ी छड़ी होती थी, जो स्वाद में बहुत मीठी होती थी और मुंह में डालते ही गायब हो जाती थी। . अब हम शायद ही किसी घर में कैंडीमैन को आते देखते हैं लेकिन कुछ अभी भी पर्यटन स्थलों पर घूमते हैं और कुछ बच्चे अभी भी उन्हें देखने के लिए उत्साहित हैं। यहां दो तस्वीरें हैं जिन्हें मैंने मॉल रोड पर देखकर क्लिक किया था।
