My Actifit Report Card: April 29 2026
Rain Came Back… And So Did the Cold 🌧️
Today didn’t feel like a normal day at all.
Since morning, the sky looked heavy… like it was holding something back. And then suddenly, rain started. Not light, not gentle — proper strong rain. The kind that makes you stop whatever you’re doing and just listen for a moment.
In Abbottabad, weather can change quickly, but today felt different. The rain didn’t just fall… it stayed. Roads got wet, air got colder, and that unexpected winter feeling came back again.
Honestly, I wasn’t ready for it.
I had plans to move more today, maybe go for a proper walk and increase my step count. But the weather had its own mood. Cold winds, continuous rain… it makes your body slow down, and your mind too.
Still, I didn’t want a zero day.
So I adjusted.
Instead of going far, I stayed closer to home. Walked in small spaces, moved around where I could. It felt a bit strange, not the same as walking outside freely, but movement is movement.
And sometimes, you have to accept the day as it is.
While walking indoors, I kept thinking how weather affects everything — not just routines, but also emotions. Rain has this quiet effect. It slows things down, makes you think more, feel more.
Part of me wanted to just sit, drink something warm, and do nothing. And honestly, I did that for some time too.
But I also reminded myself: consistency doesn’t wait for perfect weather.
Even on a cold, rainy day… showing up matters.
My step count today wasn’t very high. Not something impressive. But considering the weather, I’ll take it. Because the real win was not stopping completely.
Today taught me something simple again: You don’t need perfect conditions to stay consistent.
Sometimes it’s rain. Sometimes it’s mood. Sometimes it’s just laziness.
But if you still move a little… that counts.
Abbottabad felt like winter again today. Cold air, rain sounds, quiet streets. A different kind of day.
Not productive in the usual way. But still meaningful in its own small way.
Let’s see tomorrow… maybe the sun comes back, maybe not.
But the goal stays the same: Keep moving, no matter what.
Stay active, even on rainy days.
