How I Earned My First Money as a Student
Welcome back,
Today I am going to talk about my very first earning, because this is how I am going to participate in the current contest on India United. Usually, people share stories about their first pocket money, but in my case, I never received pocket money from my dad.
My dad was very strict about giving pocket money. He believed that whenever I needed something, he would directly give me the money so that I would not waste it unnecessarily.
So instead of pocket money, I am going to talk about my very first earning, which actually came from crypto itself. It was back in 2017 when I joined university.
Until that time, I had never tried earning money because I was very focused on my studies. But once I entered university, I started realizing how difficult it was becoming for my dad to manage my education expenses along with daily travel and other costs.
That was the time when I started looking for ways to earn money, and that was also when I got introduced to crypto.
Back then, there were websites where you could complete faucets, and by doing that, you could earn Bitcoin and Dogecoin. I mostly earned Dogecoin at that time. I remember earning around 10 to 15 Dogecoin every day.
I also earned around 20 to 30 satoshis daily, if I remember correctly. There were also options to earn Litecoin and a few other cryptocurrencies.
That is how my first earning came into my life. It was not a big amount, but it was something very few students were doing at that time. Because of this, I was quite known for it during my college days.
I felt really happy because it was my own earning, even though it came without any investment. All I did was use my internet connection, complete faucets, and earn rewards.
Sometimes I think about what would have happened if I had saved those Dogecoin till today. They would have been worth thousands of dollars now. I clearly remember having around 1,200 to 1,300 Dogecoin in my wallet at one point.
The funny and painful part is that those were my early days, and I did not properly save the private keys of my Dogecoin wallet. Because of that, I lost access to the wallet and could never recover it.
But that is fine. Even though I lost those coins, I gained something much more important. I got introduced to crypto, and that completely changed my life. So yes, my very first earning came from crypto back in 2017, and I am genuinely happy about it.
