Hello Everyone,
This is Ruwanweli Maha Stupa, one of the most sacred places in Sri Lanka. This Stupa was built by King Dutugamunu & restored in 1940. There are a lot of stories behind this stupa. While Egyptians built world-famous pyramids, our ancestors built three famous Stupa. Ruwanweli Mahay Stupa belongs to one of them located at Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.
