Fred
So we saw this spider hanging out outside our door at the beginning of last summer. The kids were curious and over time fell in love with the creepy crawly. We made him a honorary pet (he had to stay outside of course) and named him Fred.
Fred hung out outside the house the whole summer and the kids treated him like a member of the household. They would always check on him and would watch him do spider things. As the weather got colder Fred disappeared. I'm hoping he is behind the house siding and will join us for 2021 if he makes it through the winter.
