My Silver Coin Challenge Entry
@welshstacker put a coin challenge out the other day to share your Panda coins, sadly I don't have any with me. But I do have one coin with me that is special. It's this 1896 Morgan dollar that was given to me by my father as my first Morgan. He passed away about 11 years ago unfortunately. I have carried it around with me kind of as a good luck charm for years. It's definitely my favorite coin even though it's not a perfect specimen. It's more the sentimental value to me and reminds me of my father. So here it is:
About the coin:
1896 Philadelphia mint
Mintage: 9,976,000
Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper
Diameter: 38.1 mm
Weight: 26.73 grams
Designer: George T. Morgan
That's all I have today, thanks for reading my post and have a great day!
And my disclaimer: Gold and silver stacking can be a fun hobby but isn't for everyone. You can lose money. I'm not a financial advisor and this isn't financial advice, please always do your own research before spending your hard earned money.
