Sometimes you need a change. Today was that day for me. After two years with no trim and being stuck inside from lockdowns, today I made an appointment and treated myself to a personal system UI update 😆

It's actually been about two years to the day since my last trim. Don't let the picture fool you, I am excited and happy. If you've ever had a beard at length before though, you know how hard it is to let that endurance struggle go so easily.

For those who don't know, I allowed my top knot to grow for a full two years while still shaving the sides. I don't have any photos of my long hair. I honestly thought I did and intended to post a side by side of my hair, but I have no idea where I saved that image. I was slightly self conscious during this time and did not take too many selfies without a hat on (I would ball it up and shove it under my hat lol). If you watch my past Twitch streams you will find me somewhere showing it off. Maybe I'll try and dig that up.

In total we removed:
6-8 inches (my neck beard was a bit longer and scraggly) from the beard.
14 inches from my hair.
