Seven Minutes, One Memorable Journey
Sometimes traveling can be so fun because you have different people with different personalities. You get to see some that will act abnormally, and you see some that will just act like all is well when you are very sure that things are not in place. It happened that I had to travel a distance to Ibadan in Oyo State, where I was posted for my primary assignment, but I had to go submit my rejection letter today because I couldn't work with the terms and conditions that were given to me. So while I got to the pack, I took a bus going to my previous place of primary assignment to get the letter.
But what made this journey an interesting one was the fact that I entered the bus with an old woman who gave virtually everyone in the bus problems. The journey was not a long one because it took us 7 minutes to get to our destination and was 2.3 km long. Actually the journey was a bit longer than that, but I had to take a bus to the next bus station to get a bus that would convey me back to where I was coming from. In the end of the journey, I enjoyed it and got to my destination because the vehicle was not sluggish on the highway, and I was able to see different places.
While the bus was going, one of the things that amazed me was that everyone who was arguing with themselves before became so quiet, and they managed themselves because none of them could come down from the bus, and the driver tried to be more focused with his steering because you can't afford to distract the driver while he is driving a lot of people to their destination. Lo and behold, it was an adventurous journey, and I got to see people from a different angle again. I hope you enjoy the ride as you watch.
