A Memorable Journey from Ibadan Back to Abeokuta.
After a long weekend, which I had, I decided to return to where I came from this morning. I had an event in another state that my friend invited me to, and I couldn't say no to him because he deserves it. Then I had to travel from Abeokuta to Ibadan in a 2-hour drive, but this morning, after traveling far, I decided to return home to start a new week, and it was very early, as at 6:30 am I had been at the bus stop to board a bus taking me back to Abeokuta. This video started from the car park, where we had to wait for the bus to get filled by humans, and then it continued till when the bus was full; then we proceeded on the journey.
The journey is a 59 km drive, which will take up to 1 hr 20 mins to get me back to camp, Abeokuta. Since it's a Monday morning, there was much movement on the road because most people are going back to resume their duties for the week, and since it's a Monday morning, we must not be lazy. At some point in the middle of the road, the car broke down, and we almost had an accident because the bus tire removed completely on motion. This was very scary, but we pulled through. All thanks to God for sparing our lives.
The journey was very fun and lively because I had to talk with my friends and the driver, who was a lovely person to keep conversation, and we spoke at length. At the end of the long journey, I was happy I went through the ride because it feels new when you explore new places that you have not really been to. Traveling from Abeokuta to Ibadan and going back from Ibadan to Abeokuta was very filled with memories, and I am happy I went through it. This is a road trip full of memories and gratitude. See you next time.
