O... M... G. I spent almost 300k Starbits two nights ago on a mid-five-figure vehicle card... and then I wanted to shoot myself in the face with a flare gun. You know what I mean?

Because I deserve to live through the excruciating pain of a missing eye and third-degree face burns. Dying is far too easy... I need to reflect on this epic fail and NEVER EVER do it again.

I'm an idiot.

And my hat is off to @kaokaokao! That was either a stroke of genius or you somehow got very, very lucky. Either way, it's a clear win. 🙌

I have no clue how it happened either. I don't go around paying 5-10x what cards are worth... I look for deals like other #RisingStar players, I'm sure, on the cards I have my eye on.

I'm not angry though.

I mean... I was pretty pissed off at myself for a little while understandably, I won't lie, but that's how life serves us its cookies sometimes. (These are some fuckin' terrible cookies, if you'll pardon my crudeness).

Not the end of the world. I guess I just needed to vent for a moment.

Well, no... the crisis was definitely not averted, and I spent an unconscionable amount of precious Starbits on an epic vehicle #NFT (I don't remember which one I goofed on exactly, as I was buying a few at the time) and I'm still working to get back over a million. Jesus did NOT take the wheel-- now all the children are dead.

Kidding. I have no idea where that even came from! (Awkward laugh.) I'll get help.

I think I just clicked on the wrong BUY button, but it could also be one of those cases where the six-figure number looks to be the same length as its five-figure counterparts. In any case, my hat is off to the lucky recipient. Well played.

Multiply That Good Fortune!

I'm sure it came as a pleasant surprise to @kaokaokao that I chose his 295k #NFT over others that were 80% cheaper (smacks forehead firmly) so my only advice in that situation is to grab a bunch of PIZZA tokens and add some liquidity to the PIZZA:STARBITS LP on #BeeSwap.

Truth be told, I removed most of my own liquidity after this blunder, in an effort to regain my millionaire status... but as you can see from the screenshot above, it's a sight better than a kick in the ass. (Trust me. 🙄)

So I'm still well short of the 1,100,000 #Starbits that would otherwise sit in my wallet right now... but I think yesterday will be the only day I miss for the millionaire mission!

I have to say that I am shocked how quickly I was able to fill that sudden 200k+ token deficit-- by removing most of my liquidity, focusing on shorter regular missions only as much as possible, and also just outright buying around 50,000 tokens. There's still a gap, but I'm almost there.

There should be a special, very limited card for boneheads like me... maybe Milli Vanilli, or R Kelly. You get what I'm saying. What do y'all think? I feel I deserve a tokenized blemish of some sort.

And this is a pretty accurate overview of how I feel...

Shitty, yes... but I dealt with it in record time, and I put a selection of some of my higher end duplicates on sale last night too, so I might even end up having some crypto to play with (and to dive deeper into the #LPs) when the dust settles.

Live and Learn, as they say... and rock harder as a consequence of the lessons. That's the idea, isn't it? No hard feelings, obviously... I just figured it would be a funny (ha!) story that my fellow Rising Stars could appreciate.
