TeleTuesday - Would? (Alice In Chains cover)

Last week I was exploring the heavy world of drop D tuning and this week, inspired by my #MusicMonday post from yesterday, I decided to continue exploring some low tunings by attempting this great song by Alice In Chains!

For this one, you'll want to tune all your strings half step down (Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb) and use some high gain distortion. For the cleaner parts I mostly used dynamics and rolled back the volume a bit, but the distortion was on all the time.

This song is pretty straightforward except maybe for the outro, which has a tricky rhythm pattern that I totally did not nail, as you can see. Still, even if you don't do it exactly like Cantrell, it still sounds nice so don't worry too much about it.

As always, I used my trusty custom Tele, a Meteoro amp and a Boos OD-20 emulating a ProCo Rat.
