TeleTuesday - She (Green Day Cover)

This week I was feeling very nostalgic so I decided to take on one of my favorite songs from back when I was a teenager who had only recently picked up his first guitar.

"She" is quite a simple song structure-wise but in my opinion is a good practice for the right hand and for people who want to learn or improve their palm muting technique.

Even though this song was not originally recorded on a Telecaster, I feel like I got a pretty good tone out of mine! I got this using my usual custom shop Tele style guitar, a small Meteoro amp and a BOSS OD-20 set up to emulate a BOSS DS1. I was going to use the TubeScreamer setting as I usually do but I really liked the result I achieved with the DS1!
