Industrial Lights
Hamilton Ont. has always been known as steel city, because oft he massive steel companies in the north end of the city. But in recent years that has started to change! Massive closures and development plans have been the new normal. One of the companies (Stelco) is all but gone and they have started demolishing buildings. So I ventured down to see if any were sitting empty, to explore. Unfortunately I found most of them already gone and a couple still in use.
One cool find was this inspection station for Stelco mill number 2. The mill was demolished over a decade ago and this building is all that remains of it.
Not wanting to end my night with just that, I decided to spin steel wool on it and wander around the area to shoot steel wool and light trails.
It is unfortunate that the industry is dying off and that I couldn't explore any of it yet. But still walked away with some cool shots!
