Saturday journal: my weekend thrill

It's the weekend again guys and my Saturday started with me waking up to read. There was a test scheduled for 12pm today and I had to wake up really early to get things done as it's only during the weekend I get to really put my house in order.

After reading, I put a few things in order and set to begin my day. I'm a member of the sanctuary keepers in my church so every Saturday, we go out in our numbers to clean the church. The church is pretty big and needs lots of hands to keep it clean.

I had to walk some distance so I could take a few shots of the environment 😉.

After the cleaning, our dear Mr sun was already up and shining down on us. It was gonna be a sunny day after all!

By the time I was done in church, it was already past 9am so I headed to school as there was no need to go back home. My friend stays in the hostel so why not? I had a place to rest my back before it was time for the test plus we were going to revise for the test together.

I got to school in time and walked around a bit taking some photographs of the environment before heading to the hostel.

The walk was long and tiring, my feet were begging for a stop but I had to keep moving as it's been a while since I took a long walk.

The school environment was calm, there weren't many people around as it's Saturday and students were resting from the bustle of the week that just ran out.

We've all been stressed lately, late night readings, taking tests here and there and also exams. The semester was a very short one, so we've got no choice but to endure.

Getting to the hostel, it was some minutes past ten. I had stayed back to take some shots of what my school environment looked like.

This campus is called Annex campus, we have three campuses; Annex, Town campus and Permsite campus.

Permsite campus is mainly for engineering and science students while Town campus and Annex campus is for the Art, business, marketing etc students. I mainly have classes at the Annex campus.

The hostel looked tidy and I especially loved this girl's corner. She kept her things tidy and her bed well laid so I took a picture of it. My friend was laughing at me because she knew I was going to do a journal for all the shots I was taking. She even showed me more things to take pictures of.

When finally after a lot of revising and cramming, it was almost time for the test, my friend and I left the hostel but before we were out, we took a picture together using the reception mirror 😂. Girls and mirrors are best friends🤭.

On getting to the venue where the test was to be held, I was so tired and decided to sit down for a while before the class rep opened the door for us to get in.

All phones were out as we took the test and luckily what my friend and I read was what the lecturer set and we answered the questions happily without any confusion.

After the test, I took another shot of our footwear. She saw me off at the gate and went back to her hostel.

I've had a long day already today. Tomorrow, I'll just stay back in bed and sleep, then wake up later and read more for my exams next week.
