Vacunando al Negrito Bonito [ ESP– ENG ]

Hola mi hermosa comunidad, el día de hoy les voy a hablar del Negrito Bonito y su proceso de vacunación, primero les contaré que el Negrito Bonito es el perro de mi mamá, su nombre es Benji, y aunque su nombre original en un principio era Ven, con el tiempo tuvo algunas modificaciones, y esto ocurría a medida que lo íbamos pronunciando, pero curiosamente Benji también responde al nombre de Negro y Negro Bonito.

Primero les cuento que mi mamá le dice Negro Bonito por su color y cuando lo quiere adular lo llama de esa manera, esta forma de llamar tiene una anécdota muy buena y es que más arriba de la casa, vive un señor de test oscuro, y cada vez que pasaba por la casa, escuchaba que mi mamá decía Negro Bonito, el señor siguió pasando, pero cada vez lo hacía más contento, yo creo que él pensaba que mi mamá se refería a él y que quizás lo estaba nombrando en ese momento, o pensaría que ella estaba enamorada de él, pero en realidad es que mi mamá se estaba refiriendo a su perro. El Vecino se dio cuenta meses más tarde que Negrito Bonito era otro y no él y dejo de pasar por la casa.

The Neighbor realized months later that Negrito Bonito was someone else and not him and stopped coming by the house.

Benji es un perro que nació y se crio en tiempo de crisis, realmente eran momentos muy duros por los que estaba pasando la familia, él era hijo de una perrita que habíamos rescatado que se llamaba Nina y mi mamá decidió quedárselo por ser un machito, Benji a diferencia de otros perros no tuvo vacunas, no tomo leche, no comió perrarina, él creció fue comiendo yuca con frijoles, y realmente al principio se veía hasta desnutrido, pero era lo único que había para darle, en sus años de juventud nunca fue desparasitado y así fue creciendo, hasta llegar a la edad de 5 años.

Hoy en día se ve gordo y cuadrado y es que su alimentación ha mejorado muchísimo, un familiar de mi madre le lleva constantemente orejas de vaca y viseras, esto lo ha tenido repuesto y en buen estado.

Today he looks fat and square and his diet has improved a lot, a relative of my mother's constantly brings him cow ears and visors, this has been replenished and in good condition.

Como ustedes saben nuestros perros Lobo como Kira ya están vacunados, Kira ya lleva todas las vacunas de su tarjeta al día y Lobo por ser un perro rescatado del que no sabíamos nada solamente le colocamos la séxtuples y tiene pendiente la antirrábica, con mucho esfuerzo hemos tratado de inmunizarlos ante ciertas enfermedades, pero la conciencia me molestaba cada vez que me recordaba de Benji.

Benji es un perro mestizo, y muchas personas creen o tienen la falsa creencia que los perros mestizos no necesitan o no merecen el mismo cuidado que los perros de raza, y considero que este es un tipo de discriminación muy fuerte hacia estos perritos, primero porque ellos no tienen la culpa de ser mestizos y segundo porque son seres vivos que de igual forma merecen amor y cuidado .

As you know our dogs Lobo and Kira are already vaccinated, Kira already has all the vaccines of his card up to date and Lobo for being a rescued dog that we did not know anything about, we only gave him the sextuple and has pending the rabies, with much effort we have tried to immunize them against certain diseases, but my conscience bothered me every time I was reminded of Benji.

Benji is a mongrel dog, and many people believe or have the false belief that mongrel dogs do not need or do not deserve the same care as purebred dogs, and I consider that this is a very strong type of discrimination towards these dogs, first because they are not to blame for being mongrels and second because they are living beings that equally deserve love and care.

Pensando en todas estas situaciones, decidí aplicarle a Benji la misma vacuna de Lobo, es decir, colocarle dos dosis de la Séxtuples y después la antirrábica, así que junte 12 dólares y compramos la primera dosis esta semana. Algo que motivo a moverme más rápido con este asunto de la vacuna es que cerca de la urbanización se han muerto varios perros con Parvovirosis, y todos los que han muerto no estaban vacunados, aquello me alarmo, así que decidí comprar la vacuna lo antes posible.

Thinking about all these situations, I decided to give Benji the same vaccine as Lobo, that is to say, to give him two doses of the Séxtuples and then the rabies, so I gathered 12 dollars and we bought the first dose this week. Something that motivated me to move faster with this matter of the vaccine is that near the urbanization several dogs have died with Parvovirosis, and all those who have died were not vaccinated, that alarmed me, so I decided to buy the vaccine as soon as possible.

Ahora vendría el punto más fuerte, colocar la vacuna a Benji , y es fuerte porque Benji es un perro que no nos tiene confianza y en una ocasión que intentamos darle un desparasitante mordió a mi hijo, así que íbamos con miedo. Mi esposo decidió aplicar la misma técnica que aplicábamos con Lobo y se trata de cortar aproximadamente 1 cm a la tapa de la jeringa, esto permite que la inyección entre en el cuerpo solamente lo necesario, además evita que duela y hace más fácil el manejo y la inyección del perro.

Finalmente chicos les comento que nos costó mucho tomarle fotografías a Benji, porque él siempre que se echa a descansar lo hace debajo de algo, una mesa, una silla y siempre estaba como ansioso, así que hicimos nuestro mayor esfuerzo para presentárselo hoy a ustedes.
