Untamed Expression

I created this charcoal piece, which I’ve titled “Untamed Expression”, as a raw study of human emotion caught in a fleeting moment. The bold, rough strokes and smudges weren’t about perfection—they were about letting energy flow freely on paper. The figure’s face, with its wide eyes and open mouth, carries a charge of surprise, passion, or maybe even anger. I love how the slightly detached glasses frame adds a subtle narrative, like something is being shaken off. This was done in a loose, expressive style to let honesty take the lead over precision.
