Fuchsia Flowers - Balcony Garden Update
My gardening style is a fairly practical one: if I can't eat it or brew it into a nice herbal infusion, then why bother growing it?
Up until recently, the only exception were mosquito repelling plants that served another important purpose. Flowers grown for decorative purposes alone rarely attract me. Unless they're pink. Like, really pink. And what's pinker than Fuchsia?
This gorgeous new addition to my balcony garden is a fairly spoiled one. Like me, fuchsias like a temperature range of 15-25c (so they'll be coming to an air-conditioned room come summer), no direct sunlight and a lot of water and attention. I couldn't help but adopt this little couple of young fuchsia seedlings.
Since joining my garden just last week, they've bloomed new flowers with shades of pink that perfectly match my hair. Check out some more photos:
What flowers do you think I should add to my balcony? Which do you have on yours?
