STEEM blockchain games and why it's GOOD for the blockchain.

Hi there Steemians.

Why I think games based on blockchains are faster, better and safer.

In this case I am talking specifically about the steem blockchain and games built on the steem blockchain that are quite fun and addictive.

Ok so there's not alot of games yet built on the steem blockchain only a few great ones sofar.

Just to name a few.

I will use TavernGames as an example in this article.

Games built of a blockchain are so much safer and in my opinion that's all that matters.

Especially nowadays where almost every game has in-game store and thus security needs to be on point.

Every transaction is broadcasted to the blockchain and then it gets signed and confirmed on the blockchain and therefore it cannot be undone or changed or tweaked in any way making for a more secure system. Because what's done is done and cannot be reversed.

So what does that imply for a gambling game to run on a blockchain. I think it's brilliant, seeing that every bet is recorded to the blockchain and therefore the proof will always remain their for everyone to see. No hidden agendas or them schetchy business.

Building games on a certain blockchain in itself adds value to that blockchain and the token running on it aswell whether it is the ethereum blockchain or the steem blockchain or any other blockchain for that matter.

It attracts users and therefore users playing a game based of a blockchain willingly buys into that blockchain through means of buying tokens and such.

Creates activity on blockchains.

Exposes the value of a blockchain to the world. Because it can be used as so much more than a simple gaming platform.

Games based on a blockchain are decentralized and that's what we are all about hey guys.

So get out there and start gaming on the steem blockchain.

Do you have what it takes to swindle the Goblin king in taverngames.

Or slay your opponents in the splinterlands.

Or run the streets facing off the gangsters in your way with DrugWars.

Or perhaps conquer the vast corners of the galaxy in search of glory and Stardust in NextColony.
