Ethiopia is using blockchain to verify education credentials
The government of Ethiopia in partnership with IOHK's Cardano blockchain will keep track of student's progress and store the data in a verifiable system to prevent fraud in university and job applications.
This will also ensure the country allocates resources where needed in the education sector.
The biggest advantage for the students is the fact that they can get their credentials verified by potential employers without reliance on third parties.
