
Until other markets open 24/7 Bitcoin will always fall first
Bitcoin's liquidity is it's achilles heel.
On Sunday at 9 p.m. when you need to liquidate something to meet a margin call in the morning, bitcoin/crypto is the only thing you can sell. So crypto gets sold before other assets.
In crises, markets sell what they can, not what they want. Liquid assets always be liquidated first in liquidity crises. Crypto will be sold before stocks, which will be sold before gold, which will be sold before property.
That means we either need a strong bull run in stocks like in 2021, to prevent bitcoin being dumped. Or we need stock markets to open 24/7 as well, so bitcoin is not the only thing being sold when the global market goes into panic mode.
