duel citizenship and remote working & upgrading servers!

i’ve been busy this month with my application for duel citizenship. the “marketplace” for digital nomad visas is heating up and a lot of countries are starting to realise that a lot of the digital nomad work force work remotely for a company or manage a company via the web. So why not build proper visas for those people because chances are they are gonna spend money in their countries and help the gdp numbers.

I’ve also been in a hardware upgrade cycle with both virtual servers and local kit. i bought myself a decent stand and usb-c lapel microphone for doing little vlogs (eventually getting a gimbal and wireless capsule mics for the iPhone too) but i’ve yet to get started on recording from the mobile. Must do! trying to schedule that into a morning walk but the weather has been shocking.

The duel citizenship paperwork is a bit of a grind at the moment and it takes about three months for them to resolve the paperwork but i just feel it’s a good move to have it, opens up the EU when things start to close down more because of the limitations of a british passport. If it opens things up for my daughter because i applied for it then i’m all for it.

I've started to "upgrade" a bunch of cloud servers as well, just to give them a bit more memory and virtual cpu usage to give them a little bit more of inflation umfff as things crunch onwards. I don't know i just like to try and top things off, increase things a little here and there, i'll probably look at getting another server by the end of the year as well.

the mobile setup for multi cam is looking pretty decent, i think with some wireless mics it's gonna be even better, the only thing i'm concerned about is if i can use one input with multiple wireless mics, if i'm doing a triple or even quad camera setup (i have a usb-c hub with four you see for wired cameras of old iphone models) i'd like to have audio for all the people that are in shot.
