peer to peer marketplaces? maybe in 2020 people will go straight to this?
I remember being really excited when peer to peer marketplaces started to pop up before realising that it was quite the stretch for the average person who was already struggling with e-commerce to get a bunch of things running to be able to offer these kind of crypto services, it just all felt a little bit, well. .. shady.
Fast forward two years however and we have a whole different ballgame and while bitcoin is still looked down upon as being the home of crooks and criminals elsewhere outside of that, on the edges of the side chains we are seeing other platforms that are starting to not only offer ways to pay in crypto but offering complete solutions to existing platforms like shopify.
Not only do they look as professional as some of the offerings of the common centralised platforms but they are often cheaper and are positioned to dominate the marketplace when things start to ebb more unemployment and us all working for the algorithm! :)
I’m fascinated by the notion of peer to peer digitally selling someone to someone from another place, in real time, as virtual assistance, I have this, based on this many years of experience, you need it now, incredibly fast transaction, instant payment — you get what you need and I’m on my way — it opens up so much for analog distribution too when you factor in sustainable forms of transport like electric vans.
Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a steem powered delivery network of electric local transportation selling and distributing goods between steem users for instance? — I can see the online steem calculator now for the distance, mileage and weight quote engine! :)
Anyway, I wanted to share this course for you, for free now in the hope that you get some value out of it, now that’s it’s a few years old, the information contained within still pretty valuable if you wield it correctly!
