on the pier

Good Morning, I hope allis well with you and wish you a good day

I was by the pier the other day, doing some light painting on the pier, and I thought to myself I often take photos of this pier, some with light painting and some with the sunrise colors behind it, buts it has bene quite a while since I walked out on the pier with my camera and tripod and took photos from on it, and hence I did and it lead to this post

This is in New Bedford where i live and at the one end of the Harbor walk which I often walk on in the early morning, there is a boat ramp and parking and this pier, which often has people out fishing on, well in previous years, I have not seen many people fishing on it this year

This first shot is as I first walked out onto the pier

And for those who may be getting bored with my efforts at light painting, even thought I did do some light painting that morning I am not sharing any of those shots today

Looking to the left as you walk out to the end of the pier, straight ahead is the site where they are building the towers for wind turbines and to the left the hurricane barrier wall, with the harbor walk way on top of it

and then looking back in over the pier to the car park

and now looking the other way the tent and buildings are a restaurant the Cisco Breweries restaurant and bar, veyr popular especially on nice summer days

and looking back as I walked back off the pie
