Solar Eclipses : How do they affect us?(tarot reading)

Happy October, Hive.
Today I am looking at something I have pondering lately - Solar Eclipses. The fact that the moon and sun are exactly the same size in the sky, to me, is not a coincedence. The moon having the ability to completely eclipse the sun must be for some reason, but what is the reason?
That is what I look at here.
Let's see what the cards have to say...
It looks like there is some balance of light and shadow that needs to be maintained. It looks to me like an opportunity for shadow energy to manifest on the surface in a specific way. It doesn't look like a negative thing, and if you feel a link to the shadow realm, this might be a good time to send or recieve energy.
