Mayday in Minneapolis

Good day, Steemit!
Spring is finally really here in Minneapolis, and that means Mayday.

Every year, there is a celebration at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis, and it truly is my favorite thing about this city.

I have a ritual that I do when I get to the park, as there is always a labyrinth set up near one of my favorite trees. Every year, I walk the labyrinth before I take a walk around the park to see what's going on.

After the labyrinth, I went for a walk, and ran into an Irish band.

They were doing an instrumental version of Waxie's Dargle mixed with The Silver Spear when I got there.

I immediately sat down and stayed for the rest of the show.
At one point, the musicians walked out into the crowd during another instrumental.

He was literally standing right over me during this picture.

I then checked out my friend's band as they were playing for the Black Isles Bellydancers.

I love bellydancing, and my friend is an amazing fiddle player.

It was a beautiful day, and a good time was had:)
