Buckthorn Nunchucks ... version 1.0

I've continued to make thingys with Buckthorn.
I had a visit from a couple of friends the other night. They are both taking Tae Kwon Do classes, and one just became an instructor. I of them saw my wooden creations and asked if I could make nunchucks.
I truly don't think I would have thought of it, but it was such a good idea that I got started that night.

I have never made nunchucks before, but I've seen all of the Bruce Lee movies a hundred times, so I think nunchucks are cool.

I debated whether to use cord or chain to connect them, and the available materials decided it would be chain.

I am definitely getting some cord tomorrow! Not only would cord make for smoother movement, but it will be more reliable than shitty chain.
If I got some nice chain with a method for it to swivel, it would probably be as good, but I feel like cord will be cheaper.

In either case, it will be fun to make these. Playing with them also gave me all kinds of ideas about puppets, so any failed nunchucks can have a second life:)
