The Nostalgic Night Views Of The Yanqi Lake

One of my most visited places where I find eternal peace is the Yanqi Lake Scenic Area, as it is within my cycling range and is really soothing. When I sit on the very wide wall of the dam of the lake, I can inhale the purest air, drawn from the mountain ranges in front of me; I feel I am in heaven. The stress from the whole week is gone just instantly. Also, I enjoy the scenic view of the surrounding area when I visit the Yanqi Lake especially at the afternoon till evening, and I come back to my dormitory before it gets dark.

I have enjoyed very few nights there and enjoyed the night beauty there because it takes around an hour to arrive at my dormitory. During my May holiday season, I have spent long hours on the beautiful Yanqi Lake Dam from where these breathtaking views can be explored at night. That day I went there in the evening and enjoyed the night views of the scenic surroundings, and I returned to my dormitory at night.

I went there with my bicycle so there was no issue with any transportation problem as I can come when I wish. And for safetiness, Beijing or any big cities in China are so safe that they have almost zero crimes as the laws are very strict here and everything is under close-circuit camera. You can find so many CC cameras everywhere you go in Beijing. Only you are out of cameras in your home or sometimes in your toilet!

The night vies are not the natural as the nature goes completely dark at night but I have found the resorts and hotels of the lakeside area and the smaller island inside the lake created an artistic view that was stunning. For the first time it was unbelievable for me and it can be hard to believe your eyes with the amazing beauty of the night. The colourful lighting on the mountains and their reflection on the lake water seems to be one of the best views that you can enjoy here.

The evening is longer there, but the whole surrounding area changed dramatically when the darkness appeared in the area with the lighting decortion will appear there in everyside you look. The darkness of the evening becomes very colourful with the heavy lighting all around the lake area, especially the resorts and hotels area. I think the views of the night become more colourful from the dark period of the evening. The lighting on the mountains made the views more eye-catching with their spiral appearances all around.

I can say that there are very few places that can be explored with such beauty in Beijing at night time with such iconic views except some breathtaking views in some areas in Beijing like the Olympic village. For Huairou district, I can say this one the best place for exploring the best night views of any scenic area as many of them are closed at night but it is open always as this is a road that is used for the people residing in the resorts and for the tourists..
