When you are undergoing psychoanalysis therapy with children, drawings are a very useful tool that allows the analyst to understand and grasp the inner world of the child.
Just like Melanie Klein says, drawing allows the use of the fantasy and creativity of the kid and increments their contact with the reality, both internal and external.
