I have had many happy experiences in my life. Among them, the experience of traveling on the roof of a train is unique. A few days ago, I went to Sirajganj by train from Tangail station. The memory of that trip suddenly touched my mind again today.

We reached the station at around 4 pm. Suddenly, amidst the hustle and bustle of everyone around, the sound of the train whistle was heard. The train arrived at 4:15 and stopped at the platform. I and a few of my friends climbed onto the roof of the train. When the train started moving, a new joy and a strange feeling arose in my mind.

The train was moving very fast. Green paddy fields, small villages and open sky above our heads were all around. Sometimes we all sang songs in joy. Sometimes we enjoyed the surrounding nature in silence. Suddenly the train line met the road. Buses, trucks, private cars, motorcycles were passing by the train. Many people were waving their hands and making us understand their existence or their love.

I enjoyed the most while crossing the Jamuna Bridge. The train was passing over the vast river. And from the train, the river looked full of a different beauty. It felt like we were flying over the river. It created a different feeling in the mind.

The journey was different. There was no fatigue, no harassment. This journey made the mind fresher and more refreshed. After 30-45 minutes, we reached our destination. Even though the journey was over, the excitement in the mind did not end.

Train travel means getting close to nature, seeing nature up close. Touching nature. Every time you travel, you get to know a new experience.
