ENGLISH FOR MY SON
My boy is an unschooled kid during 4 years already.
We try to study everything by ourselves, using the books I chose for him.
English is one of his favourite subjects.
I bought 3 different books for him
a USSR textbook of 1950s
a modern book with exercises and texts
and a cool interesting book with short stories and tasks after them (+audio version to listen to these very texts)
- we watch cartoons in English + we sing songs:)
My strategy gives good results, I think, because my son reads well, can speak a little bit using words he knows and he understand English speech in cartoons and songs.
I think he should have more oral practice, so I try to add english into everyday life.
And games! Of course, PC games are a good English teacher as well;)
What game can you advise for 10-year old boy with good English speech?
