Last Week Tonight - Coronavirus... Again
Round #7 about the Coronavirus. But we are slowly getting out of the total lockdown.
The markets are rallying already, running ahead of basically... Everything.
All it needed was a lot of stimuli from governments and central banks.
But please, do not get into the trap that this is the end of fiat or something like that. Yes it's different from the financial crisis, but there won't be a hyperinflation (quite the opposite, deflation might strike) or a huge crash. Life will go on, even after the virus. Hard to imagine by now, but this is how it runs.
The hard part will be to not forget the virus and the consequences out of it. The social distancing, the impact on work and the economy. Take that experience and use it for something good!
