And this is a phenomenon that for any anime or horror fan is complete madness, what could be marked as one of the most important cult anime of the decade and, although it hasn't come out yet, if all goes well, one of the most important anime in history. This considering that its manga is already a mythical manga here within the niche, and that, with the help of adult swim to produce and create this anime, the event will be as mediatic as it is good, that I assure you, why?

Y esto es un fenómeno que para cualquier fanático de anime o del terror es una completa locura, lo que podría marcarse como uno de los animes de culto más importantes de la década y, aunque no ha salido aún, si todo sale bien, uno de los animes más importantes de la historia. Esto teniendo en cuenta que su manga ya es un manga mítico aquí dentro del nicho, y que, con la ayuda de adult swim para producir y crear este anime, el evento será tan mediático como bueno, eso lo aseguro, ¿por qué?

This is also thanks to the fact that he trusted the people behind the project, who are not only its creator, Junji Ito, but also its director, who has already made several anime with a rhythm and magic that shows he knows what he is doing, or the person in charge of the soundtrack, who is in charge of the music in the movie Hereditary, one of my favorite horror movies. This, together with the genius of the decision to make an anime of seven chapters (each chapter will last about 13 minutes) is so logical and perfect that I can only applaud all the ideas and decisions that have been taken to adapt this manga.

Pues Uzumaki, el anime, ha sido una producción que se ha atrasado ya varios años. Los que seguimos la noticia sabemos que esto lleva más de tres años y no hemos perdido en ningún momento la esperanza de que sea una maravilla ya que por lo que se ha mostrado, será tan fiel al manga que da hasta escalofríos, y además, por eso mismo se le perdona que se tomen todo el tiempo del mundo. Esto también gracias a que confió en la gente que está detrás del proyecto, que no solo es su creador, Junji Ito, sino también su director, quien ha hecho ya varios animes con un ritmo y una magia que da a entender que sabe lo que hace, o el encargado del soundtrack, que es el encargado de la música en la película Hereditary, una de mis películas de terror favoritas. Esto, junto a la genialidad de decisión que ha sido hacer un anime de siete capítulos (que según han dicho cada capítulo durará alrededor de 13 minutos) se me hace tan lógico y perfecto que no me queda más que aplaudir todas las ideas y decisiones que se han tomado para adaptar este manga.

A little story, I read Uzumaki in 2019, a few years ago, and the truth is that I have a very large patio, so, at night, I used it to relax and read manga, however, uzumaki did not relax me, but left me with a phobia of snails and one of the most interesting sensations I've had when reading any work; I had goose bumps and as if I were one of the main characters, I became addicted to the story, I wanted to read and read even though fear made me look away from time to time.

Bueno, si alguien no ha leído Uzumaki, recomiendo a ojos cerrados leer no solo está, sino todas las historias de Junji Ito. Una pequeña historia, leí Uzumaki en 2019, hace ya unos años, y la verdad es que tengo un patio muy grande, así que, en la noche, lo usaba para relajarme y leer manga, sin embargo, uzumaki no me relajó, sino que me dejó con una fobia a los caracoles y una de las sensaciones más interesantes que he tenido a la hora de leer cualquier obra; tenía la piel de gallina y cómo si uno de sus protagonistas se tratase, me volví adicto a la historia, quería leer y leer a pesar de que el miedo me hiciera apartar la mirada de vez en cuando.

It really seems like an impossible thing to adapt, and even though it's had a few anime adaptations, none are up to par, but with Uzumaki it feels different, and for the same reason I'm super excited. Because I know that, as happened with Pluto on netflix, Uzumaki on adult swim will be a show we'll all be talking about when it's released, and, from the bottom of my heart, I hope it's only good news.
