Am excited to be here today again to share with you on some thoughts 💭 that came to mind during the cause of work , activities and happenings in the on - going week.

Its very obvious in life that every successful and meaningful steps we took to get to where ever we are today were never the easiest which practically shows us that every journey that is going to bring something good in the future will start with resistance, confusion and sometimes lacks motivation. But many who did took that first bold step were able to get themselves to somewhere.

The first step in the things we have dreamed of achieving sometimes appears to be the hardest and like a heavy burden on our shoulders despite we knowing that its one way that can help elevate us. It can be that 8:00 - 5:00 job that might not be paying well for now, the self employed work we wants to channel our energy towards, that business we want to set up , the new relationship we wants to try or a career change in life we feel might be better for us in the future than the present one.

The first step is always difficult 😞 to take due to the anxiety we feel, uncertainty, discouragement, doubt if it will work out fine, fear of the unknown . These are the emotions we feel which can lead to procrastination from taking that first bold step. But this is okay because we are humans who feels emotions of all kinds especially in the realities of what we have seen that might have happened to others around us who have also tried by taking that first steps

I met an old friend during one of my field work day this week and after few discussions, she chipped in on how she wants to resign from her present work because she has plans to start up her own business . But at the same time she said she is afraid of resigning since she does not know how well the business will do initially. I saw that she was at a cross road with worries and decided to pay attention to her. We took out few minutes to branch into a Mall for window shopping 🛍 while discussing since her mind is on daily - last consumer goods called retailing . We did this to make her feel the need to either make up her mind for the business setting up or still stay with her 8:00 - 5:00 for now.

However, my first advice to her is that she has to remove anxiety 😥 and fear 😨 and focus on what her inner mind is telling her. I told her that I will not advice her to leave her job right now for the business, rather she should make sure within herself that she is truly ready for the business before resigning. And at the same time I made her to understand that procrastination is an enemy to progress that leads to success which has made many not to move forward in life.

Its very important we learn how to make and take decisions that will be of benefit to us especially those of future benefits because what ever we start today by taking that first bold step will definitely take sometime to mature and blossom which is why we must have made up our mind before taking that first step, as it enables us put all our energy into what ever it is. Although unforeseen circumstances sometimes might be an inevitable obstacle, but it surely one day will be a thing of success in our life if we keep going harder.
