Behaviors as we know are human characters and manners which certainly I see as what humans learnt and at the same time might inherits. And I can say environment plays lots of roles in human behavior when compared to how and ways parents guided their their kids while growing and when we talk of genetic involvement in behavioral impact.

Its very important to know that no matter however parents tries to bring up their wards , as parents are seen as the mirror that represents their children and the first contact a child has, but every child could choose to behave in a certain way once he or she becomes an adult. This in other words means that despite how hard parents guide their children to become a better human while growing into adulthood, its left for the person as an adult to choose either to act and live in a proper manner which he or she has inherited , and at the same time can choose to become a bad person in character which might be because of environmental influence.

Parenting as we all know is one hectic of a job and despite how hard it is, parents has continued to put in every effort they could to to make sure their children grow up to be a better person in the society. But parents has no more say ones a child becomes an adult. But we could also see that every person as an individual must have what connects them from where they are coming from which might be a good trait or bad trait which they have either inherited from parents or have learned from environmental exposure.

I happen to know a family who is very wealthy and made sure their children went to the best of school. The man as the father of the house is so calm and calculated. I could also say he went through suffering to become successful. Then when his son finished high school here in Nigeria, he decided to send him abroad to further his education. This boy travelled and was doing well initially, and suddenly in his 300 level, the boy started doing drugs that he could not concentrate on his studies again. It was a very sad news to the father because he so much believed in his son.

Then he however travelled to where his son was schooling and made sure they took him for treatment which took so many months for the boy to recover. This is definitely an environment influence from those the boy was associating with in school. An environment where parents don’t know what is going on with their children. The man eventually had to change school for the son which cost 💲 him so much money 💰.

Its in the hands of parents to still control their children while there growing, but at a certain age in life, it becomes definitely impossible. At the age of character formation, its important we let our children know the wrong behavior and those that are right because its a very crucial time in their lives learn from parents especially the good behaviors which then becomes inherited. But once parents are not able to caution their children at this stage of character formation, it then becomes formed in their brain 🧠 which they now live with into adulthood.

In conclusion, “Tell me who are your friends and I will tell you who you is an old adage I learnt long ago. Its a very clear adage which is why parents always put lots of effort to know those their children friends are. Although sometimes its does work out fully because those who choose to be bad in behavior will ends up being badly behaved.
