Hacks are just better ways to do things that will help us for easy life navigating situations. And I can say I have been living my life with lots of hacks right from when I was a student which helped sustained me through the years. Although those days were better days than now, but I learned to always manage my pocket money even when other students are living a lavish life.

The truth is that while I was living in boarding school then, most of my classmates were indigenes of where my high school 🏫 was situated. So every now and then, they will visit home and come back with lots of food stuffs and money 💴 from their parents because they don’t spend much transportation. But in my own case, I will have to travel for at least 1 1hr hours to get to my parents before I could collect some food stuffs and another pocket money for a month . So I was careful with the way I buy things at the market then. I will have gone around the market to make sure prices are the same before buying anything. It was a hack that helped me so much then.

And in this recent times with the way inflation has turned things upside down in my country, I have even become smarter with market prices. And one big problem being that prices of goods are not regulated in my country and this indeed is a very big issue, causing market prices not to be in uniform. A seller of one kg beans in a street stall or shop will never be the same with a seller in a larger market shop . In fact, you will be shocked 😳 with the price difference.

I have also learnt not to be buying goods from just one seller all the time because I want to maintain customer relationship. Many sellers will want to take advantage of you because they are seeing you regularly, thinking 💭 you are a fool because of their greed. I make sure to have up to three(3) sellers I buy goods from as this will help me compare prices at all time. This method will also help me know when there is truly a price change.

Another hack that I learnt from my mother is buy items in large quantities especially food stuffs and provisions. Yes! You might not know what you are loosing when buying in single items because the price margins are not alarming. Although, bulk buying requires mor money 💴, so many might not have it at a given time to buy in bulk and save some money off. And bulk buying favors big families too because of rate of consumption which helps to finish up some perishable items on time.

But I tell you that buy provisions and toiletries in large quantities saves cost 💲 and makes life enjoyable since it also saves us the stress of always going to the market or shopping 🛍 . And to cut off greedy sellers who goes to buy from the large market and keeps ripping off those they feel have no choice, I will make sure to gather money and go for bulky buying.

Lastly, walking from one distance to another during the weekends before boarding a vehicle 🚗 to wherever am going to has helped me improve on my exercise. Since driving all through the work week makes walking 🚶🏿‍♀️ exercise difficult , I use weekend outings to do some walking which one, helps me keep fit, two, save some transportation cost 💲 for me. I do this especially when am not in a hurry to get to wherever am going to. This is one good hack you can incorporate to stay fit while saving money 💵. Haha 😀.
