Opening a New Restaurant: Challenges and Joys 🙏❤️✌️
Hello, my lovely friends! See you this evening!
This afternoon, I finished writing my post. Then, I opened my cafe in front of Wat Phrai Sorn. It's called Natta Restaurant, still using the same name. I started by selling drinks, whether fresh coffee or other beverages. Our shop offers them all.
This afternoon, I started by opening the door with my keys.
My husband is the one selling drinks today, while I prepare the kitchen because it's not in its proper place. I still have to organize the kitchen because there's still a lot of cleaning to do. It's quite surprising, no matter how much I clean, it's still not finished. There's so much stuff being moved around. I can barely organize everything. I still haven't completely cleaned it all.
I occasionally run to help sell drinks, which is also helping my husband while he's cleaning. My dad is having a lot of fun opening a new shop. I find it very chaotic for me, especially since shopping and organizing the shop are all so disorganized. On days when I go out to buy things, I carefully write them down, but I forget something. Of course, this place is different from where I used to sell things, on Koh Phangan. Traveling from where I live to where I need to buy things is a chore. That is, a large department store, Makro, or sometimes buying from the market. It's difficult for me if I'm missing an ingredient. It's a huge hassle because I have to drive several kilometers, which makes me very worried. I think it's very difficult......
The photo above shows the front of the store, where my husband and I put up the English letters for the shop's name. When it was finished, I wrote an article about it today. I'm sure I'll get the letters, but as I mentioned, I had to spend money.
It took me quite a while to put up the letters, but it's done and I'm so proud of everything I've done in this shop. I think I have to do it, even though this time it's a challenge to sell to Thai people.
This section is the interior. The vibrant colors and vibrant lights were designed by my husband, and everything in the shop is controlled by a mobile phone. That was my husband's idea.
It took me about three days to get it ready, just to please my brother.
It's finally done. As I mentioned, all that's left is the kitchen area, which of course requires me to find time to organize when customers aren't buying drinks. For example, today, customers were ordering several cups at a time, so my husband and I had to work together. It's something I'm very happy and proud of.
And everything went well today. The beverage section is a perfect fit for my neighborhood.
As evening approached, I headed to the White House
to prepare dinner for everyone in the family
and to feed my mother.
Today, I made pork with purple leaves, my husband's favorite dish, and my favorite chili paste. I also had a plate of my daughter's favorite hot dogs with my homemade seafood sauce. Another dish that was incredibly delicious was southern-style fish kidney curry, with fish balls instead of meat. I made this meal near dinnertime, and when it was finished, I served it with hot steamed rice. It was absolutely delicious!
That's all for today's story and music.
See you next time!
