Hello, my dear friends 🙏
A challenging morning task of resting my mind with back pain
💪
This morning I woke up with an unfamiliar feeling. Severe aches and pains in my waist and back were almost exhausting. It was excruciating pain, unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. Despite my body's protests, I had to continue with my daily routine as usual.
🏡 Light housework for those with back pain
I started in the kitchen, cooking rice and washing dishes. Then, I took care of the pets, feeding them and cleaning their cages. However, due to back pain, I'm going to skip some of those steps today and do what I can.
It's time to feed Mom. This morning, I made a light meal of rice porridge with eggs and a glass of fresh milk soup. Mom seemed happy and cheerful. I kept feeding her until she finished eating. Then, I immediately took some pain medication.
After about half an hour, she started to feel better. The pain lessened. I felt hot and sweaty. It seemed like the symptoms were starting to ease. So, I started writing this article for you all to read. This morning's tasks seemed simple and not as complicated as other days with so many indoor and outdoor activities to take care of.
📅 Important appointment with the Fisheries Department and unexpected assistance
Today, I had an important meeting with officials from the Trang Provincial Fisheries Department. They came to inspect the flooded area, as I had registered to receive assistance for the death of all my fish in the pond caused by the flooding.
At 11:00 a.m., the officials arrived. They called my husband and arranged to meet in front of the village temple. Upon arrival, my husband and I traveled with them to Ban Suan.
🤝 Goodwill at the right time On the way to the garden house, I met a relative who asked me to help stay with my grandchild for a while because the water pipe had burst. He had to rush out to buy equipment to fix it and there was no one home with the grandchild. It was a perfect timing as I was traveling with the Fisheries Department officials, but I didn't hesitate or refuse to go help take care of my grandchild.
I let my husband park in front of my relative's house, then I went in to keep my grandchildren company. Meanwhile, I took the opportunity to sit down and write this article for my friends to read. My husband will probably lead the officers to the garden house to carry out the inspection as per his mission.
💔 Post-flood damage These photos were taken after the water receded in some areas, and the impact was truly severe.
The teak trees I planted were visibly dead, withering and losing their leaves rapidly after the floods receded.
The vegetables and other perennial plants I planted suffered the same fate. Flooding for more than seven days deprived them of oxygen at their roots, causing them to wilt and die.
The impact of flooding on pineapples, peppers, chilies, basil, sweet basil, passion fruit, betel, betel leaves, and durian trees, especially palm oil seeds, which had rotted due to flooding for several days, has already died. This demonstrates the vulnerability of these plants to prolonged flooding. Scientific data indicates that these plants typically do not tolerate water for long periods.
This is a photo of actual damage after the flood receded. I'm sharing it with you as a lesson about the impact of flooding.
Today I must say goodbye for now, my friends. See you again next time. Thank you very much for following and supporting me. 🙏🏻❤️
