Proposing another enhancement for POB and HIVE platforms

Every time I am writing a blog, I see a heavy miss on the platform, and then I just change my way of expression. But today, while I was posting a comment, I had a desperate need to share a small video but there was no option. And it made me think why haven't I proposed it yet, even when I have felt the need so many times.

Although pictures are a great way to represent and share your personal life and event you are a part of, sometimes we need to have videos to let the other person feel the moment, like they are with us. And apparently, I see this as a gap not only on POB but on Hive blockchain as a whole. I wonder if there is a reason why we are not allowing the uploading of video artifacts.

While I do understand there are many communities like D-Tube which promote video content and one can go there anytime and upload and share a video. But what if I want to share a small video in my post itself and it is not worthy of going ot D-tube? There is no option.

There could me a reason behind not allowing video content. If so, I would love to have some awareness around that. But if not, then I would love the see an option here soon for uploading videos along with pictures.
