POB Mobile Browser Experience

I use my mobile browser (Safari particularly) a lot to access the POB platform. While the site is extremely responsive on mobile browsers and the omnichannel experience is also great, there's a challenge that I have been facing since the launch of advertisements.

So when I open POB on my browser, it takes a few seconds (1-2 mostly) to completely load. Even if the screen is not fully loaded, I can still see the main icons to be used - the Edit icon and the Profile icon. These are fully functional even while the loading is in process.

Main Issue

In that 1-2 second period, when I click on the edit profile icon, I land upon the advertisement page because apparently by then the advertisement loads. And then I have to go back and reload the page the visit POB. Now, this is not a good user experience. Sometimes I end up closing the browser altogether because I don't like it and have limited time.

User experience always goes down by more number of clicks and such unseen behaviors and pushes them away. While I do understand that this is the problem of the slow internet but again, I'm sure not all of us have lightning-fast internet, especially not in my country.

Suggestion

  1. If we can move the advertisement section to somewhere else such that it doesn't impact the user experience and at the same time the visibility of the advertisement is not impacted.
  2. An even better solution is to cross-check with the user if they wish to be redirected to some other page using a pop-up message. This way we are informing the user that they will be redirected from POB to some other web page. The user can accept or deny the request basis on his choice.

leprechaun@leprechaun Please look into this and see if it is a valid workaround.
