To answer the question as to why is it dangerous to wear a blue sapphire ring without an astrological consultation, I will like to take an indirect approach to explain it with my view with a difference.

Lets understand what generally the people in the society with less and no knowledge of vedic astrology think about or understand about the Saturn and gemstone associated with it that is blue sapphire (Neelam).

Saturn is known to give very fast and intense results, and if it is unfavorably placed in a person’s birth chart, strengthening it through a blue sapphire is thought to worsen negative influences rather than reduce them. This can manifest as sudden obstacles, financial losses, health issues, mental stress, or setbacks in career and relationships.

In Vedic astrology, wearing a blue sapphire (Neelam) without proper consultation is considered dangerous because the gemstone is believed to strongly amplify the energy of Saturn (Shani), a planet associated with discipline, karma, delays, and hardship.

This is absolutely correct correct BUT BUT BUT people should not single out only Blue sapphire the gemstone for Saturn alone.
