Beautiful Indian Pond Heron

The beautiful walk around the River near my town. The Indian Pond Heron which is so common to see in near the river while taking a walk.
The river is beautiful and mostly used by people for the picnic and summer baths by young people. As this is one of the hottest spots for people to enjoy the sun in Summer and river while swimming in it.

Birds are always something that amazes me and i love taking there pictures. Wildlife pictures are something that takes patience and lighting. The heron is spotted by us while we were taking landscape shots as he was hunting and waited for perfect distance and moments for her to hunt. As you can see the red flower in her mouth is to attract fish and then hunt them while they get close to the bird as sometimes it felt like it is something stuck in her mouth.
Here are some pictures i took while taking a stroll through the river. The river is called markandeya as it is names after the famous Saint (Saadhu) Rishi Markandeya.

The river bed is getting dryer through every summer as the rain comes the river gets full. And birds come to feed here. The river has plenty of opportunities for the birds and some animals to hunt. The bird is hunting while attracting the fish through the red flower as it is something we haven't seen while i was amazed i took these shots while it was hunting.

These are beautiful shots And it looks amazing while remembering how the bird was hunting. Heron bird is hunting while in the river.
