Dailyprompt - A quick nap

It was supposed to be a quick nap.

But as I woke up, the surroundings were empty.

I went outside the classroom in which I had fallen asleep to look outside, and the entirety of the school, the hallways, everything was dead silent.

"Wait, did the school close down already?" I checked the time. There were still a few hours left.

Then why is everything so quiet?

I rounded a corner in the hallway.

"What the hell happened here?"

AHHHHHH

I turned towards the scream.

It sounded like a girl.

I hesitated.

"It sounded a bit... different."

Like an imitation of a scream.
