Some updates... some trivial, others not...

Okay, so I've pretty much wiped my schedule for August, seeing as I can't stream this month. I've yet to sort out the photos and other gubbins, but I'm at the point where I need to get my finger out and take those photos, so I can clear out the more trivial/easy stuff from the "to do pile", as it means that I can start clearing my flat out and make space for upcoming events.

The videos will be coming, plus I also want to test out my new webcam, although I probably need to do something about my beard and hair, just to make me look a little more presentable, for when I stick my bug in front of the camera for the SIGIL and Ion Maiden Fury unboxing videos. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I will have the cash to get the regular big box edition of Ion Fury, even though I want it badly because it has stuff not in the Founder's Edition!

Just as a little sneak peek of the photos I have planned, one will be of my recent (as in the last 3 months) big box PC (and one Amiga game, yes, you know the one) game acquisitions from thrifting and eBay, as well as 3 of the same item, 2 of which are exactly the same, and are for PC, the other, is for a certain handheld console. That one will also appear in my little collection of items for that console), and then I'll show you other gubbins of interest too, such as my Incentive Software/Superscape collection for PC, except for one game I failed to locate in storage! Other than that, there's also a bundle of games for a system I don't yet have, as well as a game pack for its successor, and quite a few comics too!

There are other things as well, but right now I forgot what else there is, so it'll be cool for me as well to see what I have!

Other than that, on the Steem DApps front (which I've not talked about before, especially outside of Steem) I've managed to make some further progress in Drug Wars*, NextColony, and SteemNova, in terms of research and production, though unfortunately, I'm not really in any position to properly expand anywhere as of yet, although in Drug Wars I did have enough cash (after buying an Operations Center, so I can get a +0.5% production bonus across the board with resources) to purchase a Bar, which will bump up my alcohol production by over 2k, so I'll have plenty of alcohol to use to do much-needed expansions, as well as purchasing troops, and making upgrades!

Also, it looks like alcohol is the biggest resource required to do anything (I thought this was called Drug Wars?), based upon resource costs. I semi-joke about the title of the game, because if we look at "realism" for a moment, alcohol would be a lot easier to get a hold of than drugs or weapons, because unlike the other 2, alcohol is (mostly) legal around the world, plus there's a lot more of it vs anything else, but I digress. I'm hoping as well that one day I'll be able to perform decently in one of these games (I can play all 3 atm because they have different paces), so I can make some STEEM, or some of their game-specific tokens, in order for me to effectively get paid to play games, although really, all my money will be going towards improving my content creation efforts (computer upgrades, recording gear, tickets for events and travel, games to stream/review/LP, and so on), and that stuff gets expensive!

So yeah, that's the state of play right now. One thing I will say however is that I'm going to start Duke Nukem 3D - Episode 2 from scratch again, because it's been too long since I played it, and I ideally want to finish it for October, which is when I plan to play the full version of Ion Fury, although the unboxing would be done by then. Shadowrun Returns is a bit easier to pick up from where I last left off, so that won't change. Additionally, I'm going to change my current schedule to Wednesday 20:00-23:00 and Thursday 20:00-00:00 from September onwards. Note that I probably will allow for 30 mins extra to finish my streams, though I may go up to an hour after finishing time, but that's it from now on. I need to more tightly control my streaming times so I can focus on other projects, and I can't really afford to do what I've been doing in the past!

As and when things get sorted, I'll start posting updates (though I also want to create a schedule image that provides details of an "average" week in terms of what I'd stream, although I'm using the stream countdown for actual times.), so you know where I'm at with everything, but for now I just want to sort out photos for Instagram (as well as Steepshot, which I'll finally start using!) and get the unboxing and Cybiko videos done!

*This is a referral link for Drug Wars; if you use it when signing up, it helps me out with earning some Future Tokens! Also, you need to have an account on the Steem Blockchain, so this link, which is also a referral will allow me to be your referrer when you sign up. Note that for the free Steem account, you need to provide a mobile number to verify your identity, or you can buy one from them instead, bypassing all of that.
