Brilliant... now I have a new problem xD
It worked, but now it posted it twice for some reason! I'll have to look at that in time for Saturday! I might actually be better off just sticking to manually scheduling the posts myself as I have to edit them anyway, so why not? I'm still getting the automation I need ultimately, but it is nice to test things to see how they work out.
I definitely feel like IFTTT can be used effectively, but equally, I feel like fixing my Facebook issue has solved things better than automation! At the same time, IFTTT should definitely be some sort of tool in my toolbox, because I feel like it will make certain things a lot easier to carry out, but with my current processes? Turns out that manual scheduling is a lot more efficient, especially as I'm mainly just copy-pasting things anyway!
Also, I've just thought, I can edit my template to turn it into the V2 template as soon as I drafted up the final V1 template! I'm stripping a few things out oif the V2 template to make it easier to copy-paste into platforms that I don't do blog posts for, and I'll be stripping out the notes fields, and adding them in when I need to add them for platform-specific things! Either way time to disable the IFTTT applet, as it's not working as well as I'd hoped.
