Erica's Seafood Shack and Market in Harpswell, Maine. I immediately thought of #MarketFriday by @dswigle 🙂 Ok I know thats a little sad when you are on vacation but I'm always looking for good content to post 😊 And this place was the perfect seaside seafood market.

Looks like we are in the right place for lobsters! and fun photos. It was a foggy morning which seems right for a fishing dock in Maine.

Another great photo then I'll talk more about the market I promise 😁 This metal lobster is awesome but with the propellers, buoys and trap its perfect.

Erica's also has a take out seafood shack. And its a cute one 🙂

Here's the menu. We plan on coming back to try a lobster roll.

They have some outside tables but they don't seem super inviting on a cool, foggy morning.

Ok if you made it this far... finally some lobsters! The box on the right that is tied to the dock with the yellow rope is a live well. The fisherman fill the box and its weighed and sold. Then the lobsters are kept fresh by tossing the live well back in the water. The restaurant worker is selecting a bucket full of live lobsters to take up to the kitchen.
