Welcome to StellaLuna Gardens!
We garden in sunny Central Florida. We grow all sorts of tropical plants, with a focus on bromeliads.
We have hundreds of bromeliads in many different genera, including Aechmea, Alcanterea, Bromelia, Billbergia, Cryptanthus, Dykia, Guzmania, Hogenbergia, Neoregelia, Portea, Puya, Quesnelia, Tillandsia and Vriesea.
We have just started adding tropical fruits to our garden, such as Joboticaba, Carambola, Bananas, Avocado, Passion Fruit,
Sherbet Plant, Peanut Butter Plant, Lemon Trees, Cumquat Trees, Pineapples, Miracle Fruit and Muscadine Grapes.
We garden organically. We do not spray for bugs or use chemical fertilizers. We compost everything we remove from the gardens.
We mulch our gardens with Oak leaves that fall from the trees each Spring. A thick layer of Oak leaves is a wonderful weed blocking mulch, that the earthworms love and break down into a nutrient rich soil.
