Hi Steem Fam!

Mary and I had such an incredible experience having our very first live show in Austin! We usually enjoy the comforts of being behind the camera and having the option to edit things out later. Here you guys are just getting the full, unfiltered version of the show. 😂

Hopefully IJ (@steemcafe) doesn't regret allowing these two crazies get up on stage during his fancy crypto conference...but someone had to shake things up and make people laugh after a full day of presentations!

Not only was this a milestone for us because it was our first time on stage together - but we were also celebrating the one year anniversary of the show!! Can you believe what a ride it's been? Thanks @dtube for cheering us on along the way with all of your support!

The Episode Topic - How to Get the Most out of a Conference

We went back and forth on various topic ideas so many times since we knew there would be a variety of people attending the show - many of which had never watched any of our episodes in the past. We wanted to pick a topic that would be applicable to everyone present... and so what could be more applicable to a room of conference attendees than talking about conferences? 🤷‍♀️ Ok... this might have been a little cheesy, but we hope everyone found it a good mix of funny and helpful!

Here are the questions we answered in the show:

• How do you approach networking at conferences?
• How do you pick which talks to attend?
• What are your tips for getting the most out of the after hours events?
• What does your pre and post conference prep look like?

We tried to sprinkle in some of the inside jokes we have with our flavorites 🍦 without making others feel too out of the loop. I mean we'd hate to give them wine anxiety after all... 😉

Raffles and prizes and Mene... oh my!

Per usual SSS fashion, we did some giveaways during the show and @goldmatters just helped us take it next level by officially sponsoring the show! He even donated a $100 Mene gift card!

When people walked in, @steemmat graciously helped us out by making sure everyone got a raffle ticket. After we wrapped up the questions - we did a live drawing! Here's what we gave away:
