FLASHBACK "I'm Not The Same GIrl" Josephs 4String BassCam Feb 2 2025

This is flashback remember? I’ve probably posted versions of this song since this performance (Feb 2 2025). Yup...
August:

This might be my first time performing “I’m Not The Same Girl.” It’s a pop tune. The bass part is specific AND the original bass sound and song key center (like in the MTV video that polluted our brains), was a 5 string bass. The written bass part is specific and written for notes that are lower than my instruments capability.

Tuning down is out of the question. Gig doesn’t pay enough.
I'm not gonna bring two different instruments, my gear load is wretched enough already. Gig doesn’t pay enough.
I could play it in different octaves and be creative. I could be musical and borrow lots of bass parts from the ORIGINAL original ORIGINAL song…
Everyone is satisfied without the original bass part. I’ve received compliments.

Thanks for watching and reading.

ARE YOU VIEWING THIS ON YOUTUBE?! THANK YOU! Give a thumbs up if you think it should be a public video.

Tetrahedroseph has a new Cumbia album. It's called “Cumbia Truck”. It’s only on BandCamp.**
