Bass Finger Cam for "25 or 6 To 4" and "Beginings" May 04 2025

These are the last two songs of the performance.

First is, "25 or 6 to 4".
Yeah, that's that name.

I remember liking this song alot when I was younger. It was rare to hear on the radio. Why would they play "Aqua Lung" more?
Anyway... it's really that fun to play. The part is specific, so I think elements to focus on are dynamic contrast and groove.
The main riff/part can get old real real fast if the tempo drags or if it's not hypnotic.

Notice in the video I try to use the back part of the string and my right hand goes out of frame.
This is to achive a twangy and tight sound. It sounds cool.
The dudes from the 70's loved it and I love them.
My finger tips hate us all when I play on the back too long. I'm glad it's one of the last songs. I'm glad this bass has been made easy to play.

By the way, the name of this band is Jazz Derelicts. They/we are for hire and accept crypto. :)
Anyway, they like to end with a song called "Begininings".
I think that functionally that's a good choice. The songs has a long note for the ending and it get more and more epic as the song ends.
This creates an opportunity for a long grandiose fermata ending that ever last song needs.
