LIVE "Naked Gun" Big Band Music BassCam Nov 2 2025

Welcome to Josephs BassCam footage from November 2, 2025 video featuring “Naked Gun.”

The bass part is specific, but it’s a repetitive walking bass line. That usually means I can also improvise and they probably won’t care. However, it’s written out for a reason. It’s part of the ensemble. Blending is not easy and sounding good as a whole is just a “cool” as constantly reinventing everything.

I didn’t struggle or anything. I played every perfect notes in the song perfectly. Never practiced this song a lot or anything. It’s a comedy.

Same gear:

GoPro: Hero 11 Black Mini on a GoPro sticker mount. I was incorrect in the previous posts.

Bass: Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe 4 String… also known as “Bread and Butter.” when I was a full-time musician I used this bass and I modified it for longevity.

Beer: Probably the same one. I’m trying to post these videos in oder of performance. (West Coast Pilsner• 5.2% ABV hopped w/ Krush, Nelson, Simcoe, & Krush Quantum before helping to lead a band of musicians.) #beer
